The Dive

My timing of the dive with a stop watch gave me average time of 1.81 seconds. Breaking the gif into frames showed this: .01 second between frames and start of fall to impact happened between 180th & 181st frames. Using 1.8 sec as time and 32 ft/sec/sec for acceleration due to gravity, the distance = 51.84 ft. Most likely the platform is 50 ft above the water -- a common height for show diving.
