SIMPLE PRELOADS FOR IMAGES OR SOUNDS

This script uses a javascript to preload images. It goes in the body of your page OK. It is designed so you can add as many images as you want at any time, without changing a lot of script. Just add the image names in quotes and use commas to separate them.

This script is the simplest, but it takes more code if you have a lot of images to list.

To preload sound files, just use the embed tag with autostart = "false" like this in the body of your page.

To preload the next page in a sequence such as a slide show or even just a series of hyperlinks, put this tag in the head section of your page.
