This tool creates a checkered line and gives you a unique code called Byte Budget that I invented. The code itself is javascript; written in such a way as to reduce the file size of repetitve codes by as much as ten-fold. It is compatible with MSIE and WebTV/MSNTV browsers. It will not work in WebTV/MSNTV email.- The generator makes a line using a small block of alternately colored rectangles.
- Choose the height and width of each rectangle.
- Choose the 2 colors for your line. You may also choose any BG color for the ouput page. This is for demonstration purposes and is not a part of the output code.
- A finial is added by the tool to make the line symmetric end-to-end.
- An alert will tell you how wide your line is as you go to the ouput page. Adjust the length with "Width of cells" and "Repeats" inputs.
